Special Notice to Customers and Suppliers:
As you are aware, California has enacted a Stay at Home order. Lustre-Cal will be exempt from this order based on our customer directed notification of being an FDA, pre-approved supplier, an “essential business” to the medical equipment manufacturing industry. The following statement was taken directly from a customer received letter on March 20, 2020, “….pre-approved supply chain is considered critical to meeting product requirements approved by these OEM’s, and registered accordingly with the FDA….Our largest risk right now in not being able to meet the demand of the healthcare industry, and its response to CV-19, is our supply chain. Lustre-Cal directly supports our manufacturing of these products in their utility and functionality.”
Lustre-Cal is fully staffed and will be operating under regular business hours, 7:30am-4:30pm PST. We are committed to meeting our production schedule now and in the days to come. We are located in a rural area of California, which allows us more space and less population in and around our facility and employees. We are closely adhering to the CDC recommendations to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus and we are making every effort to keep Lustre-Cal a safe and healthy place for our employees.
We have also taken the initiative to place material orders with our prime suppliers to cover inventory requirements for 5-6 months. This proactive effort will help mitigate any disruption in material availability.
